Bespoke Lampshade CM COM
Every Munro and Kerr lampshade is made to order, and is made by hand to your requirements in our south London studio.
We can make most papers, wallpapers and fabrics into lampshades, which is perfect if you cant find what you are looking for on the high street, and want to give a bespoke feel to your interior project!
Lighter weight fabrics (cottons, silks, linens) work best on lampshades as thicker fabrics (velvet) are difficult to work with and it may be not be possible. If you are unsure if your fabric is suitable, please send us a sample or photograph and we will be able to confirm for you.
Plain, smaller patterned, or larger random patterned fabric and papers work best on tapered lampshades, whilst larger geometric patterns work best on drum lampshades.
Now that you are placing your order with us, we advise that you send your outer material via recorded (signed for) delivery, this is done at your cost and risk. The address that you will need to send it to is:

For all papers and wallpapers please send them to us rolled in a tube and not folded, as we will not be able to remove the creases. Fabrics can be sent folded or sent on rolls if needed.
Any outer material that has been sent to us which is left over from making your lampshade will be returned to you along with your finished lampshade.

Linings
The metallic linings have been created so that no light travels through the lampshade, this means the colour of the lining does not alter the colour and pattern on the outside of the lampshade when lit.
The colour of the lampshade frame will be matched to your lining choice.
Bespoke Lampshade Size
COOLIE - The Bottom Ring diameter will be 55cm, the top ring diameter 15cm, and the slope height of the lampshade will be 30cm.
CANDLE CLIPS - The Bottom Ring diameter will be 14cm, the top ring diameter 7.5cm, and the slope height of the lampshade will be 12.5cm.
